I am a NEW Corporate Entrepreneur launching a Creative Concept Corporate Event Planning and Training & Performance Agency.
Allow me to provide some insight into my background. I am currently a Corporate VP Sr. Manager for a major financial Institution in NYC. I have been in Career Development, and Strategic Sales for over 10 years. I have worked my way up from a part-time associate to Sr. Management during the course of my financial career.
I am currently accredited in Corporate and Non-Profit Event Planning. I have recently begun work on launching my own Corporate Philanthropic Event Planning, and Training & Performance Program Development Agency as President/managing Director. My company has a distinct focus and on Philanthropic activities as well as community re-investment.
I am currently working with several Non-profit organizations as a Mentor/Consultant to their Presidents, and CEO's helping them to gain awareness to their mission as well as gaining necessary sponsorships. I assist them in writing grants, submitting proposals for contracts and sponsorships, as well as writing their business proposals. Most recently I am working with an organization called Youth Unique Expressions Inc., a Non-Profit organization in Annne Arundel , Maryland, who's mission is to develop youth programs that captures the imagination, energy and hope of young people who are middle and high school age students, in order to productively groom them as future leaders, entertainers. doctors, lawyers, etc., in most cases some young people go unrecognized due to lack of resources, community development, financial assistance, empowerment, support, and confidence. This organization serves as a place for young people to have the opportunity to embark on their goals and dreams. I partner with the Music4Kidz organization and my local schools.
In addition I actively participate as a Business Mentor for Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses with Micro Mentor.org, I have volunteered with the L.E.A.D-NY (Leadership, Educational, Advocacy and Development) Program, I served as Co-President to the Volunteer Network for Bank of America, as well as Team Leader for the PAC ( Political Action Committee). Through Bank of America I also worked closely with our Community Impact Manager for the Northeast of BOA and the Market Development Leader for Philanthropic Grants/Proposals for Bank of America. Lastly I have served as Project Manager for the Black Professional Group – New York Chapter for our Business Acumen Series (The Business Acumen Series is a component of the Leadership & Professional Development Committee deliverable for BPG-NY.)
I was inducted into the Cambridge Who’s Who among Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs in May of 2008 . It would be an honor to serve your organization as President/CEO and share my knowledge and professional experience as well as gain the same from your company.
I incorporate my experience, leadership, and creative concepts to enhance our clients brand, and bring their corporate vision to reality. My company has a distinct focus and on Philanthropic activities as well as community re-investment.
